IOP Manager
IOP Manager opens the client’s .iop packs (zip-based archives with encrypted entries) and shows what is inside.
Sources
Section titled “Sources”- The packs of the opened game folder.
- Packs from your PC: Open or drop them on the page. Any file name or extension works; files that are not packs are refused.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Browse: folders on the right, a breadcrumb, and a search over the whole pack (
*and?work). Ctrl and Shift select several entries. - Preview: text (with an encoding choice: Auto, Korean CP949, Big5, GBK, Thai, Shift-JIS, Western 1252, UTF-8, UTF-16), pictures (
.dds,.tgaand others) and hex. Details shows size, CRC, date and flags. - Extract: one file downloads as itself, several files or folders as one zip (folders kept).
- Pack info: sizes, old copies, unused space, the password that opened the pack and a Verify that reads every entry like the client does.
- Edit: add, replace, rename and delete entries. A file with the same path as an entry replaces it (the newest copy wins, like in the client).
.inifiles with comment1are XOR-scrambled the way the client expects. - Optimize: leave old copies and unused space out of the downloaded pack.
- Download pack builds a new pack file with your changes. Revert drops them.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- The pack in your game folder is never changed. Put the downloaded pack into the client yourself (game closed, backup kept).
- Encrypted entries cannot be read or added until the pack’s password is known; add it on the Game Folder page.
- Packs you open here are only for IOP Manager; the other tools read the game folder’s packs.
- Changes live in the tab until you download them. Closing or reloading the tab drops them.
