Roadmap

There are no fixed dates yet. Progress is announced on Discord.

Phase 1: Foundation Almost done

  • Set up the community Git server (installed, opens with the first release)
  • Clean the 2014, 2019 and 2021 source: private settings, addresses, keys and third-party SDK binaries removed (done)
  • Build all servers and the client from the cleaned source, and run them locally (done, see the source guides)
  • Write the first build guides (done)

Phase 2: Docs and tasks In progress

  • Build, setup, and contribution guides on this site (done)
  • Game content guides: shop items, heroes, gear, medals, maps, modes, text and more (first version written; steps marked “not confirmed yet” still need testing)
  • Web tools with tutorials
  • Task board with easy, medium, and hard tasks to get you started

Phase 3: Discord bot Planned

  • Archivist links your Discord and Git accounts
  • Roles follow your access tier automatically
  • Contributions are tracked, and new releases and tasks are announced

Phase 4: Launch Planned

  • Soft launch with a few trusted members
  • Open to everyone

After launch

  • Regular updates for active contributors
  • Older updates move down to Public over time
